Benteler Automotive K.K. is the Japanese subsidiary of Benteler Automobiltechnik GmbH. A leading Automotive Chassis Systems Integrator (6 Billion EUR Sales, 25.000 employees in 35 countries).

- Head of Purchasing for the Japanese Subsidiary (ca. 200 Mio. EUR Yearly Purchasing Budget), managed an international team of 5 buyers (Japanese, Indian and Chinese team members)
- worked from acquisition to launch on several major carline platforms (latest project to date involved 3 OEM with more than 10 different vehicles for the same platform spanning over 3 continents with 60 suppliers to manage)

- Responsible for the management of the Purchasing Team. Reorganized the purchasing department, drew and implemented new work guidelines and procedures aiming at improving efficiency and productivity while preserving cultural sensitivity.
- Launched the Mazda J48C & J48J Programs (100 Million EUR Sales) in coordination with European Teams. Finalized all sourcing price negotiations with the suppliers. Reorganized completely the supply chain. Managed the selection of Logistics Service Provider.

Managed the sourcing activities and the launch of Ford B2xx the carline (300 Million EUR, 4 plants in Germany, Spain, in Brazil and Japan). Coordinator for the TVM (Total Value Management) activities.
